Stephen Rowe brings over thirty years of architectural experience in residential and commercial design projects. A graduate of Ohio State University and the University of Toronto’s Daniel School of Architecture and Design, he has worked with WZMH and Stanford Downey Architects. Today, Stephen continues to develop strategies that integrate new building technologies into contemporary practice. A personal interest in traditional craftsmanship can be integrated into projects where appropriate.
Stephen’s attention to detail and focus on materials is complimented by his design and project management experience. His versatility is demonstrated in the broad range of commissions he has managed for private homes, cottages, small renovations, condominiums, public housing, churches, and large office complexes. His designs are thoughtful and responsive to client requests, reflecting his finely-honed design aesthetic.
Called upon by national media as a commentator on architectural news, Stephen is an engaging, knowledgeable and passionate speaker. He is actively involved in local heritage initiatives, and generously dedicates time to pro bono projects as well as serving on a number of community committees. He supports the Uxbridge Garden Tour, Scugog Arts and faith-based institutions.
